GENERAL INFORMATION

Entries are invited for the above Gala to be held at OLYMPIA LEISURE CENTRE, DUNDEE on SATURDAY, JUNE 10th, 2006. This Gala will be held under S.A.S.A. rules and will be licensed as an LA3 event.

The pool length is 25m with anti-turbulence lane ropes and electronic timing. All entry times should be converted to 25m pool length.

Age Groups – 10 years old and under, 11 years, 12 years.

EVENTS

Session 1: Warm up 9.00am Start 9.45am
Session 2: Warm up 1.45pm Start 2.30pm

Warm up and starting times for the morning session are fixed but it may be necessary to amend timing on afternoon session if circumstances dictate.

10 years and under and 11 year old events are swum over a 50m course (except the I.M.) and will have finals which shall run at the end of each session. 12 year old events will be swum over 100m. All Individual Medleys will be 4 x 25m with heat declared winners. There will be no relay events.

ENTRIES

The closing date for entries is May 7th, 2005. Entries will be accepted on times and the organisers reserve the right to restrict the number of heats in each event. Unaccepted entries and money will be returned as soon as possible after the closing date.

NO LATE ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED but RESERVES may be picked on the day.

£ 3.50 per individual event. Cheques to be made payable to DUNDEE ARNHALL SWIMMING CLUB.

AWARDS
Medals – 1st, 2nd, 3rd. Mementoes – 4th, 5th 6th.

BEST GIRL and BEST BOY AWARDS in EACH AGE GROUP.

BEST CLUB AWARD.
Points on the scoring system shall be 6pts, 5pts, 4pts, 3pts, 2pts, 1pt for all events.
